The unique double-layer rear mesh upper system with specifically-placed TPU overlays combines breathability and lightweight stability, while the forward area – midfoot and vamp made up of soft, PU-coated synthetic leather – provides protection, durability and forefoot support. Innovative, protective D30 impact reactive foam is found in the vamp area, while high-density impact foam and toe box stiffeners used in adidas-Five.Ten downhill-MTB shoes protects against direct ball hits against the toes. The unique, inside-outwards, waterfall heel lining construction reduces pressure against the Achilles heel area. The soft, shock absorbing full-length EVA midsole with TORSION SYSTEM provides excellent cushioning and dynamic midfoot support, providing comfort during eight hours on the cricket grounds. A fully-lugged rubber outsole with 9 replaceable steel spikes offers necessary traction and stability.
